The measure of the rms values of the harmonics with respect to the fundamental is called “THD”.
- Total Harmonic Distortion of current THDi in %.
THDi = 100 x (sqrt( (iH2)2+ (iH3)2 + (iH4)2 +…+ (iHn)2 ) ) / iH1
- Total Harmonic Distortion of current THDv in %.
THDv = 100 x (sqrt( (vH2)2+ (vH3)2 + (vH4)2 +…+ (vHn)2 ) ) / vH1
- Total Harmonic Distortion of voltage THDv in %.
Individual Harmonic Distortion HDi(%) = 100 x ( Hi / H1 )
